Custom Framing by Art's Desire

In 1980, present owner Connie White Jones framed her first piece of art, and in three short years, ended up buying that very frame shop in Gaston Mall, Gastonia, NC. She renamed her business The Frame Shop, and remained at the  Gaston Mall location until 2004. In 2004, Mrs. Jones moved the shop to its present location at Hoffman Village in Gastonia. In addition to a new location, the store's name was changed to Art's Desire.

Custom framing continues to be a primary part of the business, even though Art's Desire has quickly become one of Gastonia's favorite gift shops! Our framing experience and expertise have kept our customers coming back for over 28 years. Our customers know that every care and concern is given to their piece of art, memorabilia, or needlework. We frame according to the highest industry standards.

We frame everything from prints and posters to needlework, photographs, flags, sports jerseys, baby dresses, diplomas, antique fishing lures, military medals, and golf clubs. Our shadowbox frames have been built to accommodate almost anything that could possible be framed. Some of the most unusual objects we have framed are a clarinet, a U.S. flag, tennis shoes, a football, and antique tools.

We take the utmost care in preserving our customer's art. To us, it's all about the art of framing!
